    Services Offered

    A rental canopy (lighting for nightime) is required for outdoor events where no other shade will be provided. A $25 fee applies.

    Fees

    The client agrees to pay the remaining amount upon artist's arrival.

    Artist Will Not Supervise Children: It is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to supervise children. Artist cannot watch children while she is face painting.

    Booking Date: The time slot will not be reserved for the client until the deposit is paid and the agreement is signed. Submitted Booking Agreements Forms will hold booking date for five (5) days to allow mailing time for deposit. If the deposit is not received within five (5) days of receipt of a signed contract agreement, the contract agreement is null and void.

    Cancellations: The deposit is nonrefundable except in the instance that the Artist is unable to perform its contracted services for any reason whatsoever. In this case the deposit and any amounts paid by the Client under this contract agreement, will be refunded, with the exception of any special supplies purchased for the Client, at the Client’s request, in which case the cost of the special items purchased will be deducted from the amount refunded and the specialty items will be available for the client to pick up from the Artist. In the case that the Client chooses to is canceled an events less that 24 hours prior to your event's date (and artist start time), the remaining balance will be due in full.

    Breaks: The Artist will be provided with paid 10 minute breaks for every 2 hours of contracted time.

    Equipment: No additional tables or chairs will be necessary for the Artist to perform. If the event is outdoors and there will be no adequate shelter provided the client must make this known to the Artist during booking. Face paints will melt in both direct sunlight and even light rain so the client in this case is required to pay a canopy rental fee of $50.

    Extreme Adverse Working Conditions: Client is responsible to provide an alternate indoor location in the event of weather conditions unsuitable for artist supplies where the temperature falls below 50 degrees Fahrenheit, or above 90 degrees Fahrenheit, or in the case of rain or storm. Artist has the right to cease painting and leave without refunding any monies if there are extreme adverse working conditions and the Client fails to remedy the situation after it has been brought to the Client’s attention. Adverse conditions included but not limited to: destructive, violent, or extreme inappropriate behavior of a child, pet or adult; illegal activities; or otherwise dangerous weather conditions such as extreme heat/cold or lightning.

    Liability Statement: Artist is not liable for any parties’ allergic reactions to paints. Only FDA compliant paints, cosmetic grade glitters, and cosmetic grade eyelash glue are used for face painting. Children with skin allergies or sensitive skin should either not participate, or have Artist perform a patch test at the beginning of the event. Ingredient lists will be available to guests at event (upon request.) For safety reasons, Artist will not paint the faces of children under 3 years old or anywhere on children under 1 year old. For sanitary reasons, Artist will not paint anyone who is or appears to be sick or suffering from: cold sores; conjunctivitis; any infectious skin condition; eczema or open wounds. Artist will use reasonable care, but is not responsible for damage to clothing or property.

    Overtime: Any time beyond the time booked will be $100/hour and $50/half hour with a full half hour charge for every 1-30 minutes overtime.

    Parking: The Client will reimburse Artist for any parking fees.

    Shelter: For the comfort of your guests that are standing in line and the artist, the client agrees to provide adequate area and shelter for artist to work; indoors this means a minimum 6’ X 6’ clear level space; outdoors this means an area with a 6’ X 6’ minimum level surface, and protection from the elements (extreme temperatures, sun, rain and excessive wind in particular)
    A canopy will be required for outdoor events where no protection from elements will be provided; $50 added fee or the client may use their own. This rate includes setup and teardown of the canopy.)
